Bad Lori is a Dark Pop duo from the outskirts of Central Europe.

Bad Lori started out as Bombyx Lori and released one album Little Gifts from the Universe and a few singles, still heavily influenced by their classical upbringing. Bombyx Lori was the perfect outlet for Alenja and Simon to explore the more expressive and experimental side of their creativity.

Their last single as Bombyx Lori “Asleep” already foreshadowed tendencies towards a more pop oriented form. 

While making tracks for the new album, the sharp redirection of style called for a name change.

Being classically trained, as well as the experience they both have from making music for film, theater and stage, is a significant influence to their style.
